Real Life is training for everyday life: recognising God in real life – in the time of day, in conversations, songs and texts, in what you see, and in stillness. The experience does not speak for God. It turns your attention to His Word and then sends you back into real life without your phone.

Four skills

  • Right-now moment – choose where you are right now (e.g. lost, afraid, thankful). The time becomes a Bible reference: hour = chapter, minute = verse. No oracle – an invitation to read God's Word right now.
  • God First hearing – retune your ear for one minute, then go on a 10, 30 or 60 minute mission offline: conversations, songs, ads, texts. When you come back, write down what touched you and receive fitting Bible verses.
  • God First seeing – the same for your eyes: signs, people, nature, places.
  • Holy Spirit · Inner room – become still, let questions sink in, write down what rises up (it stays on your device only) and test it against the fruit of the Spirit.

Why training?

Perceiving God's voice in everyday life is not a technique but practice. Real Life only counts on your device how often you have practised each skill – no account, no points. Whatever you hear or sense, you test against God's Word and in conversation with people you trust. Verses are quoted from the King James Version.
